THE BAND
CARLO
// Guitar and Vocals
Performing in bands since the age of 14, Carlo first cut his teeth on rock n roll in his late teens and early 20's as a member of various support acts for visiting Sydney and interstate groups. These included Cold Chisel, Midnight Oil, Misex, John Paul Young and the Allstars, The John Dallimore Band, Renee Geyer, and The Dugites.
Since then, Carlo has been a member of several popular local bands including Time in Motion, Cargo, Spotlight, and duo Beez Neez. Most notably Carlo was a founding member of bands Mr Meaner, Scamm, and popular duo Back 2 Back.
Both Scamm and Mr Meaner received multiple awards from media organisations as well as the Musicians Union of Australia.
FRANK
// Drums and Vocals
A lover of classic Blues and Rhythm n Blues styles, Frank is currently still involved with the Blues Brothers tribute show Sweet Home Chicago, which is touring in various NSW areas. The core band of the show grew out of the well known "Bluerays" whose lineup included Frank for several years.
Frank has also worked with various rock bands including A Different Beautiful (now Pub Rock Army), Covershot, Outta Time, Lucky Escape and Audiovine. He is a versatile and intuitive drummer, which has allowed him to be a favourite for local bands to call in to do fill-in work (with bands such as Gale Force).
He is now newly enthused by his latest project together with Carlo and Chris as Anthem.
CHRIS
// Bass and Vocals
An experienced bass player, vocalist and harmonica player, Chris has been playing in the pub and club scene for more than 40 years. He has been a member of many popular bands such as Stallions, Governor, Bourbon Alley, Don't say Don't, Major Look, and The Clowns,
Chris's experience is well known in the music community, and this has allowed him to walk into bands to help out as needed as a fill-in or for special projects. His work in that regard has included helping out the Tornadoes, The Bluerays and the "Handle With Care" showband. In addition, this allowed him to enjoy a few years in North Queensland playing with Canadian Blues man Larrie Cooke's band “Bluejays” and popular Townsville band “Tenth Avenue”.
